  1. Consider using a lubricant during sex
    Vaginal lubricants help to reduce friction during sex. You can use a vaginal lubricant during sexual activity to help make sex more comfortable and enjoyable.
    Evidence: Level A Supported by sufficient, consistent scientific evidence.
  2. Consider silicone lubricants
    Your best bet is probably a silicone lubricant. It's slippery, long-lasting, non-irritating, and safe for regular use.

  3. Reassess your symptoms to see if the above recommendations help
    Vaginal lubricants are a wonderful option for most women! In addition, you can and should use a good vaginal moisturizer on a regular basis. But sometimes the skin can be so thin and dry and tight that a prescription like vaginal estrogen cream is needed.
